SmallRig has launched another one of their unique mounting solutions, this time in the form of a Rotatable Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate Kit. This kit allows you to quickly change your camera’s vertical and horizontal orientation while keeping the lens on the same axis.
This looks to be a lot more convenient that using an L bracket or by adjusting your ball head for different orientations. This kit is also quick release and allows access to the camera controls, memory cards, vari-angle LCD and battery. The kit is compatible with both Arca Swiss and Manfrotto RC2 mounting types.
The Canon kit is fully compatible with the EOS R5, EOS R5 C, EOS R6 and EOS R6 Mark II.
