Condor adds new A330neo, reveals third and final livery

German leisure airline Condor has received the ninth brand-new Airbus A330neo, registered as D-ANRB, into its fleet.

This newest addition arrived at Frankfurt Airport on September 2, 2023, with its maiden commercial flight scheduled for the end of the following week, bound for Canada.

Notably, this aircraft is the first to showcase the blue color in Condor’s distinctive new striped livery. Prior to this, the airline had already introduced aircraft featuring green and beige stripes. The introduction of the blue livery completes the trio of colors representing elements of nature: green symbolizes “island,” beige or sand represents “beach,” and blue signifies “sea” to be used in its long-haul fleet.

Condor’s long-haul fleet renewal program aims to incorporate a total of 18 new long-haul aircraft into its operations. Since late 2022, the airline has been steadily receiving new aircraft at a monthly rate. The remaining deliveries are expected to be on schedule, enabling Condor to fully retire its aging Boeing 767 fleet by 2024.

Upon the completion of the long-haul fleet renewal, Condor has plans to modernize its short- and medium-haul fleets. The existing Airbus A320/1 and Boeing 757 aircraft will be phased out and replaced with 41 factory-new A320neo-family aircraft, consisting of 13 A320neo and 28 A321neo units. A total of 14 aircraft are scheduled for delivery between 2024 and 2025.
