Air Canada unveiled its latest new livery featuring Disney’s latest animated film, ‘Wish’ on one of its B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The Canadian flag carrier took to social media to showcase how the design was created and painted on the aircraft, saying it is a “wish come true.”
The aircraft was seen ‘in action’ when it arrived at Dublin Airport (DUB) on November 22, 2023.
This is the second Disney and movie-themed livery for Air Canada. In February 2022, the carrier unveiled an A220 livery with Disney and Pixar’s ‘Turning Red’ theme.

In early November 2023, Air Canada announced its collaboration with Disney by being the first airline globally to bring Disney+ Originals to the skies through its in-flight entertainment (IFE) system.
The collaboration also adds to the carrier’s aim to highlight its family-focused travel experience.
Air Canada was recognized as the world’s most family friendly airline at the 2023 Skytrax World Airline awards.
In 2022, Skytrax introduced ‘Family friendly’ as a new award category, looking at the following factors:
- family seating policies
- dedicated family check-in facilities
- priority boarding
- children’s meals
- children’s amenities / toys / activity packs
- child specific onboard entertainment
- free checked luggage and policies for carrycot / pushchairs
- standard of service assistance from ground staff and cabin crew during the travel experience
